Mentoring and Empowering Orphans and Foster Children
Bridge for Life Ministries mentors and empowers orphans and fosters children transitioning to adulthood with the resources and support necessary to achieve their dreams and careers. B4LM hosts seminars, workshops, and other interactive events that positively impact future generations.
The Nurturing Life program begins with children ages fourteen and up. Our goal is to help the children develop their curriculum for high school, putting them on a more steadfast path for life after high school, whether that includes college, technical/vocational training, military service, or transitioning to a career. Volunteers work with the children to ensure that the high school courses taken are aligned with the students' post-high school plans.
B4LM volunteers assist students in submitting applications for college or other training. B4LM assists with resume writing, interviewing skills, and other skills necessary for the children to succeed in their future endeavors after high school. The volunteers will continue to mentor the young adults after leaving the orphanages or foster care facilities to be successful in establishing and maintaining their adult lives.
